NOMC announces Nurse of the Year selection

Patients choose Holland for the second time

Citing her care and compassion, patients at North Okaloosa Medical Center chose Dawn Holland as our community hospital’s Nurse of the year.

For the second time.

It’s the first time a nurse has been picked twice for the honor in the history of all 120 hospitals that are part of the Community Health Systems chain of hospitals.

“That really says something about the quality of care we provide,” said Nina Perez, NOMC’s head of nursing. “The patient is the best qualified to judge their nursing care.”
