CRESTVIEW — A 49-year-old woman was charged with failure to maintain insurance for property damage after hitting a red parking bar at a gas station.
The woman’s vehicle hit the parking bar next to the gas pump at Tom Thumb. There was damage to the bar that included paint scrapes and chips.
The rear of the woman’s truck had red paint transfer along with damage to the truck’s panel. When the officer arrived, the woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of the truck.
The officer asked for her license, registration and proof of insurance. She handed him her license, registration and an insurance cancellation form. Her insurance was canceled in early July.
