CRESTVIEW — A 20-year-old was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

A Crestview police officer saw an SUV on James Lee Boulevard with no headlights on. He turned his emergency lights on, attempting to pull the driver over, but she didn’t stop right away.

After she got to the intersection of James Lee Boulevard and Ferdon Boulevard, she turned south and kept driving. The officer turned on his sirens, and she finally stopped.

When the officer approached the vehicle, he could smell marijuana. Additional officers arrived and searched the vehicle. They found marijuana and a glass smoking pipe under the front seat.
