LAUREL HILL — Laurel Hill School has sent another class of Hoboes out into the world.

The school held its 2018 commencement Friday in the school's gymnasium, where 27 seniors celebrated their achievement.

Dr. Seuss' quote, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it was a memory” was the motto for the class of 2018. Many of the students who spoke at the graduation seized on that theme.

Principal Lee Martello praised the students and their perseverance through their years at Laurel Hill.

“Deep inside of you, each of you possess everything that it will take to leave a positive mark on our world,” Martello said. “All you have to do is take the first step, and tonight is the first step of the rest of your life. Welcome to adulthood.”
