CRESTVIEW — A 20-year-old woman was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after an argument with her girlfriend, during which she claimed to have “blacked out,” turned physical.
According to an arrest report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, on April 9 the victim said her girlfriend, with whom she had lived for three years, got into an argument with her. She then ran up behind the victim, pushed her to the ground and began hitting her.
The woman received scratches to her cheek and chest, but refused medical attention on the scene.
In an interview with the alleged assailant, the woman told police she didn’t remember any of the fight because she blacked out during the beginning of the argument, according to her arrest report.
Deputies arrested her anyway and charged her with misdemeanor battery.
