CRESTVIEW – A man dressed in black who kept tapping the front of his pants was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

The 42-year-old Crestview man was telling people in the bar, “I’ll burn you,” as he tapped his pants where the gun was hidden, according to his Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

When deputies searched him, they found a gun in his waistband.

He had a valid concealed weapons permit but broke the law by having the gun concealed inside a bar.

He told deputies he didn’t know about that portion of the state statute.
