CRESTVIEW – A 31-year-old woman who was pulled over for a traffic stop apparently saw the writing on the wall after Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies searched her car.

She put a small black headphone case on the hood and told the deputy it had been in her pocket. When he asked if he could inspect it, she said yes and then added, “We’re going to jail tonight.” She then told the deputy it would be for “constructive possession.”

The case had five 30-milligram morphine pills that she said belonged to her mother.

After being taken to the Okaloosa County Jail, two bags of crystal meth were found in her waistband.

She was charged with drug possession and smuggling contraband into a detention facility.
