CRESTVIEW – A woman with an active warrant had to be forcibly carried into the Okaloosa County Jail after she battled with an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy in the parking lot.

She backed away from the deputy and told him not to touch her, according to her OCSO arrest report.

Additional units were called to help force the woman into hand restraints.

She then fell to the ground and refused to walk.

After repeatedly ignoring instructions to stand up and walk, deputies carried her into the building.

She was charged with resisting an officer without violence.
