LAUREL HILL — A 35-year-old man was taken to jail after head-butting his girlfriend in the nose after an argument.

On Nov. 9, the man and his girlfriend got into a verbal argument at his father’s residence and then took the argument to her car, according to an arrest report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. While in the car, the man, who was in the driver’s seat, heat-butted the woman in the nose, causing it to bleed.

The man got out of the driver’s seat and began walking around to the passenger’s seat, but the woman left.

The report noted the two “have been involved in a sexual relationship for the past four months and also live together as a family unit.” The woman had visible injuries.

The man was arrested and charged with domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
