OKALOOSA COUNTY — A 32-year-old Laurel Hill man was killed Sunday morning after a crash on County Road 602.

According to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol, 32-yar-old James C. Brooks was traveling eastbound on County Road 602 around 11:45 a.m. in a 2015 Chevrolet Sparks when he crossed the double yellow line and entered into the westbound lane of the road.

Brooks collided with 35-year-old Daniel Brown, 35, of Laurel Hill who was driving a 2000 Ford suv. Brown was unable to take evasive action and the left front of his vehicle collided with the left front of the Chevrolet.
