CRESTVIEW— Fifteen members of Crestview High School’s band signed with various colleges Thursday morning; many students received music and academic scholarships, amounting to more than $1.3 million total.

This is the third year the band has held a college signing day event. Band Director Jody Dunn said that athletes had their signing days but other groups didn’t, so he decided to start holding this celebration for students in the band.
