FORT WALTON BEACH — Sam’s Club at 740 N. Beal Parkway is getting a makeover.

The company is investing in a major remodel to update and improve the club, which opened in 1992.

“We are committed to the Fort Walton Beach community, and we’ve had the privilege of serving this area for 25 years,” Manager Olen Holsten said. “We can’t wait for our members to see all the new and improved features once the remodel is complete.”

Construction began last week and is expected to be wrapped up before the busy Christmas holiday shopping season. The club will remain open throughout the renovations with little to no disruption in operations.

The club will get many new features including:

A new fresh island with fresh-rolled sushi, more premium meat selections and fresh seafood delivered from boat to club within 48 hours.
An expanded Health and Wellness area to include a new optical center and a private health services room for immunizations, dietary help and more.
A reinvented café with self-order kiosks, charging stations, premium coffee, made-to-order sandwiches and smoothies.
Walk-in coolers for the freshest produce and dairy items.
Curbside convenience with an improved Club Pickup service with drive-thru pickup lanes and mobile check-in.
