CRESTVIEW – A 25-year-old Crestview man pulled over for not having a working tag light was charged with possession of marijuana and hydrocodone.
The man had four pills and about 9 grams of marijuana, according to his Crestview Police Department arrest report.
The officer discovered the drugs during a search triggered by the strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the man’s Crestview Police Department arrest report.
As the driver got out of the car, he told the officer where the marijuana was.
Officers also found an electronic scale in the car and three of the pills.
As he was being taken into custody, he told officers he also had a pill in his right sock.
