A Crestview woman is in critical condition after being thrown from her vehicle during a single-car accident on Rattlesnake Bluff Road Sunday. The three child passengers, 10, 6 and 5, received minor injuries.
C-era Langford, 27, was traveling eastbound on Rattlesnake Bluff Road, west of State Road 85, when she veered onto the westbound lane, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.
Langford tried to get back onto the eastbound lane, but over corrected, the release said. The vehicle overturned several times before coming to rest on the south shoulder of Rattlesnake Bluff Road, facing south.
Langford, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from her vehicle. She was flown to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
All of the children were wearing seat belts during the accident, the report said. They were taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with minor injuries.
