Incident occurred at the Hardee's restaurant in Crestview.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management State Watch Office has reported a pollution event Thursday in north Okaloosa County involving a petroleum spill.
According to an incident report from the State Watch Office, a release of 120 gallons of diesel fuel occurred in Crestview. Okaloosa EMS stated in the report that the spill was due to a hit-and-run accident at the Hardee's restaurant located at 3702 S. Ferdon Blvd.
The report noted that 10 gallons of diesel fuel was reported to have entered a storm drain. Cleanup actions at the scene were unknown at the time of the report.
