CRESTVIEW — There's no guarantee Crestview High School chorus members will sing songs from their vast repertoire as they wash cars this Saturday, but for the right donation, they may be tempted.

Fundraisers such as Saturday's car wash are crucial to the organization; they teach students responsibility and make them feel vested in the program, choral music director Kevin Lusk said.

Previous car washes helped fund the chorus' recent performance trip to Nashville, Tenn., as well as travel to next week's state competition in Tallahassee, which will benefit from Saturday's washes.

Car wash locations at Ferdon Boulevard's north and south ends will assure supporters there will be a wash near their Saturday errands, Lusk said.
