    It was one of those games where Laurel Hill boys basketball coach had to simply shake his head and give credit where credit was due. Paxton’s Dustin Geoghagan made his last appearance at the Laurel Hill gym Friday one to remember. The Bobcat senior guard hit eight 3-pointers on his way to a 32-point night against the Hoboes.     CRESTVIEW — There has been little continuity in Crestview’s wrestling program the last few years. Jeff Fowler — a fixture almost a decade as the Bulldog wrestling coach — built the program from the ground up. Since his departure at the 2008-2009 season’s end, the coaching position has been a revolving door. First-year coach Andrew Black hopes to end the constant upheaval and return the program to Fowler-era stability. READ MORE

    NICEVILLE — Halfway through the 2012-2013 season, the Crestview girls basketball team is continuing to develop under the direction of first-year coach Kathy Combest. The Bulldogs have taken their lumps in some not-so-pretty losses, but they have delivered a few blows as well.     BAKER — Mikala Moore was money in the bank for the Holmes County girls basketball team Friday as the Blue Devils took on Baker in District 2-1A play. Moore scored a game-high 22 points hitting six 3-point baskets to lead the Blue Devils to a 60-39 win over the Gators. READ MORE
