    CRESTVIEW — A packed house was on hand to give Crestview senior basketball players Jordan Waddell, Jonathan Buckelew, Roman Donofro and Clay Hancock a fitting sendoff on Senior Night against Walton on Friday. With Buckelew and Donofro leading the way with 13 points each, the senior quartet did their part to make the night one they would never forget as they went out and beat the Braves 67-31. READ MORE

    BAKER — Six strong innings weren’t enough for the Baker softball team as the Gators opened the 2013 season against Pine Forest on Monday. Baker held the Eagles without a score until the top of the seventh inning when they pushed across two runs to take a 2-1 win over the Gators. READ MORE

    CRESTVIEW — If there is an epitome of a bulldog on the Crestview baseball team, Roman Donofro would be that player. Standing only 5-foot-7 or 5-foot-8, Donofro, a pitcher and outfielder, won't blow you over with his size, until you start measuring the size of this Bulldog's fight. Donofro fulfilled a dream Monday when he signed a baseball scholarship to play for Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton, Ala. Donofro's teammate, Davis Champion, also signed with the Warhawks on Monday. READ MORE

    CRESTVIEW — Davis Champion will have the opportunity to continue his baseball career once his senior season ends in May. The Bulldog pitcher took the first step into his future Monday when he signed a scholarship to play for Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton, Ala.     JAY — The 2012-2013 season came to an end for the Baker boys basketball team Tuesday night as the Gators suffered a 53-47 overtime loss to Jay in the opening round of the District 2-1A tournament. The Gators had their chances as they led 40-32 with 5:05 left in the fourth quarter following a Josh Hartzog basket set up by a blocked shot by Garrett Sanders. READ MORE

    CRESTVIEW — Nobody could blame the Crestview softball team for giving up before the season started. The Bulldogs started the week with their third coach since the preseason. But instead of folding the tent and calling it a season, the girls have rallied together and pushed forward.     FORT WALTON BEACH — Not that it will make her feel any better, but Baker softball pitcher Alexis Mitchem had one of those nights against Fort Walton Beach that even Hall of Famers experience at one time or another in their careers.Mitchem walked four Vikings and hit another while giving up four runs in the first innings as Fort Walton Beach beat the Gators 9-2.
