I was born and raised in Colorado. I spent 18 years in Grand Junction and 20 years in Steamboat Springs.
I now enjoy visiting the mountains and really miss having a “White Christmas” …. 8’ or 10’ snowbanks, pulling the kids behind a four wheeler on snow tubes, snowmobiling, or taking a horse drawn sleigh ride watching the elk and deer (and I mean a different sized animal than you see in Florida… ha ha).
But other than the Christmas season, I’m glad to have left all the snow gear there and changed over to sandals!
I relocated to Crestview in 1995. I have 2 children, 2 stepchildren, and 7 grandchildren. Even though that shows my age, I love being a grandma!
My husband and I worship at Woodlawn Baptist Church where he is an adult co-ed Sunday School teacher.
