Billy Ray Boothe

Man convicted of sex crimes moves to Crestview

A Santa Rosa man listed as a sexual predator by the state of Florida has moved to Crestview.

Billy Ray Boothe, 56, formerly of Pace, has moved to the 4200 block of South Ferdon Boulevard in Crestview, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office report.

Boothe was adjudicated guilty on Oct. 10, 1998 on two counts of lewd and lascivious assault or acts upon a child, according to the Santa Rosa County Clerk of Courts Web site.

Boothe has multiple tattoos, including a Confederate tombstone on his right arm and a skull on his left hand, according to the Florida Department of Corrections Web site.

The state of Florida requires persons listed as sexual predators to file address changes with the state.
