Paula Stokes Kelley, Reporter
New to the writing staff of the Crestview News Bulletin is Paula Stokes Kelley of Niceville. Paula holds degrees in communication from Troy State University and Auburn University where among her Greek affiliations, she was tapped for membership in Sigma Delta Chi, the Society of Professional Journalists. Paula has been a writer as long as she can remember and has been published in numerous weekly, daily and bi-weekly newspapers as well as magazines throughout the South. She is a self described eclectic, sentimental, Southern, sanguine wordsmith. She loves, the beach, reading, collecting her favorite hard back books, Auburn football, cooking, gardening, scuba diving, movies, music, traveling, snorkeling, art, antiques - especially old jewelry, and sweet tea. Currently she is working on the paternal Stokes side of her family’s genealogy where she is proud to declare that her grandfathers from several generations ago fought in the Civil War, the Revolutionary War and were some of the first residents of Jamestown, VA. Paula is from Chancellor, Ala. and has two boys who hold her heart, Zachary and Skylar.
