Meet the new News Bulletin intern
Hello fellow readers of the Crestview Bulletin. My name is Shaquavia Hardy and I am an aspiring journalist and new intern. I attend Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College where I am pursuing a degree in Journalism.
My experience with newspaper stems from my previous position as Entertainment Editor of Niceville High School’s Eagle Echo. During my freshmen year of high school I became aware of the demanding yet rewarding career of journalism. Through controversial editorials with topics ranging from issues that affect the teenagers in our local school systems to the impact of the entertainment industry on youth, I realized my true passion for writing.
The written language is a remarkable entity. Simple words have the power to evoke emotion, cause contemplation or even provoke individuals to action. Nonetheless, I realized that a career as a journalist embraces this power and uses it to bring information to society.
As an enthusiastic intern and future journalist, I acknowledge the demands of newspaper and eagerly look forward to a successful contribution as an intern of the Crestview News Bulletin.
