New officers bring CPD to full staff

The Crestview Police Department is now fully staffed with the addition of five new officers who were sworn in during ceremonies in the city council chambers on Thursday.

“We are very excited to have such a diverse group of officers come aboard,” CPD Chief Brian Mitchell said.

The new officers now will complete an eight-week training course within the department.

The police department now has a total of 49 officers serving the City of Crestview.
